Hi, I'm Mitch, and I've spent the last 14 years perfecting my craft as a carpenter working for the family run business of Stockwell Builders and then in 2023 i started my own company Mitch's Bespoke Woodwork & Resin Ltd in Southampton, I pour my heart and soul into every piece I create. I take immense pride in my epoxy resin woodwork, paying close attention to every detail to ensure it meets my high standards. I get my wood from a local, family-run company in Fordingbridge, South Western Sawmill ensuring all materials are responsibly sourced and treated. With my extensive experience, I offer a bespoke service, creating a range of made-to-measure products perfect for your home and suitable for commercial spaces like pubs and restaurants. A LITTLE ABOUT MY JOURNEY
After leaving school, I initially trained as a chef, but it didn't take long for me to realise that cooking wasn't my true calling. I found my passion in woodworking and became a carpenter, a profession I've dedicated myself to for over a decade. In 2020, I discovered the fascinating world of combining wood and epoxy resin. I spent countless hours researching and honing my skills, eventually completing a resin training course in 2022 and earning a City & Guilds assured certification. By 2023, I began creating unique pieces like coasters, chopping boards, charcuterie boards, coffee tables, dining tables, and other bespoke items, and that’s how this business was born.
